Vital Ideas - 2010

This was a particularly exciting year for our child care centres, as we were the recipient of the Vital Ideas grant through the Toronto Community Foundation. This grant recognizes the extraordinary work being done by this department and all the staff in our centres. This grant will be used this year to monitor the success of our child care curriculum in preparing children for school. Further we will use this to better integrate the work of the other LEF departments into the child care centres. We expect that by the end of this year, parents will know more about the work of LEF and have better access to the range of services that we provide.
