Personal Interest Classes: Bike Mechanics
Gain the confidence and experience to repair and maintain your own bicycle by getting involved in a bicycle mechanic class. The class is designed specifically for your level of knowledge, and your style of bicycle.
Level 1 – Beginner (B)
Learn basic repair to keep bicycle safe and on the road
One 8-hour day or two 4-hour evening
Level 2 – Intermediate (I)
Learn more in-depth bicycle repairs (Recommended: taken level 1 and or have some bike repair knowledge)
Two 8-hour day or four 4-hour evening classes
Level 1 and 2 (BI)
Learn basic repair and move to a better understanding of more in-depth repairs

In each class, you will learn while working on your own bike. Upon request a bicycle, pending availability, will be provided. Note: Any Multi day classes it will be necessary for bike to stay overnight.

The Learning Enrichment Foundation also provides an 8-week Program “BAM” Bicycle Assembly and Maintenance. Gain the certification and practical experience for job placement in a bicycle retail sector.
